What Does The Service Provide?

 

Carers Groups

Carer support groups meet monthly in all the market towns and Hereford city. Parent carers meet weekly during term time and young carer clubs meet fortnightly during term time.

Emergency Cards

The Emergency Card Scheme is linked to Careline and can be used if the carer has an emergency situation when not with the person they care for.

Home Visits

The Carer Support Workers can visit carers at home, or if home is difficult they can arrange to meet somewhere else.

Information On Individual Budgets

This is the Council's new way of funding care - each person can have their own pot of money to buy the care they need in the way they want it provided. We can give advice on this.
